Every year, NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) names a Distributer of the Year at their Spring Business Meeting. This award is given to distributors that demonstrate a strong commitment to both NARI and the remodeling industry. This year, McCray Lumber and Millwork was honored to receive the prestigious recognition.
As an active and involved member of the Kansas City NARI chapter, McCray Lumber and Millwork is proud to regularly display a dedication to Remodeling Done Right. Having established an overwhelming local presence in the Midwest, McCray Lumber and Millwork has had several employees serve on varying NARI committees, with one person even going above and beyond to serve in multiple positions for the local board.
With an enthusiasm not only for remodeling, but also for member to member networking, McCray Lumber and Millwork is a regular participant in NARI luncheons, the annual golf tournament, tailgating party, and membership drive. McCray Lumber and Millwork has also taken their involvement to the next level by recruiting several other local builders and distributers to the NARI family.
Committed to their community, McCray Lumber and Millwork makes the extra effort to ensure that the Kansas City area is a thriving hub of the Midwest. Having donated thousands of dollars to their local Habitat for Humanity, McCray puts in the time and energy that is needed to give locals a much deserved boost.
McCray Lumber and Millwork also has a passion for building and developing careers in construction, having faced head on the labor shortage surrounding the industry. Working hard to promote and educate the community about specialized workforce development, McCray Lumber and Millwork is helping to revive enthusiasm for remodeling jobs.
