The Director of Purchasing is responsible for buying all commodity products as well as most of the hardware and specialty lines. Maintaining optimal inventory levels, turns, manage excess and ageing stock. Communicate directly with the management team on market conditions, replacement costs, supply issues, etc. This job requires the design of purchasing programs, contracts and price negotiations put together for our chain of yards.
