For the past 73 years, McCray Lumber and Millwork has been lucky to work with the best builders and remodelers in the Kansas City area. From small home renovation projects to large scale neighborhoods and more, we continue to be proud each and every day of the work our customers are doing.
McCray Lumber and Millwork was first established in 1947. With humble roots as the Daniels-McCray Lumber Company, the business began with three locations in the Kansas City area. Those were at 5201 East 9th Street, 48th and Troost, and the Mission lumber yard on the Northeast corner of Johnson Drive and Metcalf. Back then, Metcalf was only a small dirt road. Times sure have changed.
Today, thanks to the wonderful customers we have gotten to know over the years, McCray Lumber and Millwork has grown exponentially to help more contractors than ever with their building material needs. There are now seven locations throughout the Kansas City, Lawrence, and Topeka Metro areas: Edwardsville, KS, Lawrence, KS, Olathe, KS, Topeka, KS, Fairfax District, KCK, Liberty, MO, and Kansas City, KS.
Each location is dedicated to providing the best of the best to each customer. No matter the material, our experts are here to help you find exactly what you need for your project. We love seeing the work you do, and are honored to get to be a part of it.
