Ryan Hodges
Outside Sales Trainee

Ryan is one of our Outside Sales Trainee, who started his career with McCray Lumber and Millwork in 2013. Ryan worked in the yard, as a Yard Associate, pulling customer orders in preparation for delivery. During this time he gained a vast understanding of the products and materials McCray Lumber has to offer its customers. Ryan left McCray in 2016 to pursue opportunities in his college degree and recently rejoined the team in March 2021 as a CDL Driver Associate. In this role, Ryan was the one delivering the customer’s orders and ensuring that his fleet vehicle was always exceeding the company’s standards for maintenance and care. Ryan was promoted to his current role of Outside Sales Trainee where he will use his knowledge from his previous two roles with the company and what he learns through his rigorous training program to work with Builders in the Kansas City Area to get the products they need to execute their builds. Ryan enjoys working for McCray Lumber because hard work doesn’t go unnoticed and that it makes him appreciate the business and the people he works hard for.
